Cruel And Crazy Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Cruel And Crazy

Cruel and crazy

"What goes on? "
-asked friend when I was
-rushing to join revolt,
-helping those who suffered.

He, sort of pro-shah
-not for king but for peace.
-I too, would, be pleased…
-only if, were released
-the detained; with their lips
-free to, talk, speak.

"In the time of flood…"
-I replied:
- "you carry the sand bags;
-fight current and divert,
-the death and bloodshed."

Found his eyes wide open…
- "Am I wrong? "
-I questioned.

Sure, was not and am not
-never will, till I am
-with righteous.

Now, I do same as then
-when attack politics
-of Trump and Mullahs.
-The two are different; in
-shape, look, but not deeds
-shameless are the two sides
-cruel and crazy…
