Cross The Path Poem by sekharan pookkat

Cross The Path

Sleep not kissed at night
Brought melody and rhythm
Clouds of thought faded mind
Dreams locked the windows.

Opened the doors again
For the waves on the shore
Of new pages of life
To those whom cross the path.

Stepped into the room
Drawing new pictures
Slapped down again and again
Till impossible a new life.

Hide the sorrows with a smile
And welcomed eternal life
On the same day of testament
Love and life shared equally.

I love your line, Dreams locked the Windows... You paint such beautiful bittersweet sentiments from a kind and true place. There is a quiet sadness that still holds onto happiness. PEACE
