Crispiness Of Autumn Poem by Marilyn Lott

Crispiness Of Autumn

Rating: 4.3

I love the
Crispiness of Autumn
Freshness in the air
Leaves skitter down
Like children’s toy parachutes
Clusters of apples cling
To naked branches
Darkness comes earlier now
Wind is swift and chill
Sometimes so cold
You can feel it in your bones
But, don’t you just love it
As nature takes a sharp turn?
Into a colorful backdrop
Heading purposefully toward
A new year!
Autumn...
A special and exciting time!
