Cries Poem by Kaylynn Conn

I cry all night
for someone to help me
for someone to rescue me
from being trapped
with no where to go

Is there someone out there?
Does anyone care for me?
Why wont anyone come?
does anyone hear my cries?

There is one
who hears your cries
who knows your pain
who knows
what you are going through

That one person is God.
He knows you need help
he knows the trials you face
and he sends help

he sends his angels
to keep you safe
he sends his strength
his love
his faith and his hope

God is always there
through every trial and every pain
God never leaves
God loves you
and is helping you
even when it feels like
he has left

the truth is he is still there
he hasn't gone
maybe in your hard times
you are the one
who drifted away from God
