Crying Alone Poem by Kaylynn Conn

Crying Alone

You ask for help
and cry each night
as the tears fall
from those tiny little eyes
you are crying out
but no one seems to hear
your tiny little cries
they just disappear
you wonder around
your dark empty room
and wonder if you can run
you try to escape
but you get caught
no matter what you try
you can not get out
of this hell you are in
so you cry
waiting for help
wondering when it will come
you have been alone so long
you start to give up
hope seems lost
no where to be found
whenever you get close
they never come around

They dont believe you

they get lied to from the adults

they leave you again
alone and afraid
why is no one helping you
why are you alone
will help ever come
will your life
ever get better
maybe soon
eventually it will
little girl trust me
help will come at age six
you will have a rough life
maybe a lot of hard times ahead
but you will get saved
you will be helped
you will make it out
of this hell you are in
out and happy
free from abuse and neglect
you will live a rough life
times will get hard
but never forget
the help you received from God
from God you were made
from God you were saved
he will protect you always
he will never leave
for always with you he will be
just get down and pray on your knees
