Creeping Love Poem by Abdullahi Nashe

Creeping Love

We never touch then
Because, we wanted ours to be pure
The respect we had for each other
Was the reason for our chastity?
That we kept for a long time
Not knowing it was for someone else

You are happy now it seems
I can’t say I am
Since your image,
Kept on creeping
In my mind without a stop
Not knowing when I could be happy

The pain of loosing you
Is greater then the sweet of love we had
Though so short yet so honey
The lost of this love
I believe would go for eternity

Almighty help me with your mercy
To continue my life without pain
To be happy once in my life
In accepting that love has gone
For ever and ever
