Cows Poem by Marilyn Lott

Cows

Rating: 5.0

Have you ever watched the cows
As they roamed around a field
They chat with one another
As friendships they seem to build

The red dirt roads meander
Brightly amongst flat land
Cows relaxed and happy
Their lifestyle seems rather bland

By their side is often a baby
Romping happily at play
So peaceful they seem to be
For it’s just another day

They love to spend some time
Visiting along the fence rail
Just stop your vehicle and wait
You will see that swatting tail

And soon here they come
To visit awhile with you
Yes, cows have the answers
A simple life will always do!
