Cowboy Song Of A Lonesome Midnight Love Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Cowboy Song Of A Lonesome Midnight Love

Moon rising slowly in a nighttime sky, hoping to attract
lovers walking hand in hand down dusty western trails,
finding special meanings as they trickle into view.

Along with the big and little dipper as they flow through
the milky way, suited so perfectly in pathways chosen for
those who are in love, wanting to be together forever.

At times, missing steps, yet knowing that life will be
much better off as a couple, instead of just one alone
and separated.

A cowboy song of a lonesome midnight love as it flows
sacredly into the moonlight, being spent for them in
order to finally come together as one in time, a pleas-
ant experience to begin their lives here on earth.
