Corinne Bailey Rae [sherbet Under The Stars] Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Corinne Bailey Rae [sherbet Under The Stars]

Smooth, comforting.
Corinne these are the feelings that erupt upon hearing you sing.
I close my eyes and see the clouds loom around the sun.
An orange rose looming into the light,
blossoming into the sherbet of the clouds.
Soon turning from day to night.
Bringing forth an spoon of stars to dine in such a delightful manner.
Such a Delicious thing.
Your voice tickling my ears.
Pluto mimics the tone of your skin.
In the silhouette surrounded by the moon.
Dark shadows slowly migrate to the next.
No longer alone.
Under a shroud of light.
Until the next time I hear your voice.
Sharing a sherbet for two
Under the pale moonlight
