Cor Mallus Reportora Im Visitablum Poem by Jarret Williams

Cor Mallus Reportora Im Visitablum

Liberate yourself, from the clouds that cover your mind,
Slip away from the smoke, that smothers you blind
Our safe is house is smashed, my arms covering you,
As life and its horrors come clattering through

So when you wake, to the thunderous sound,
Of a thousand voices crashing abound
Their deathly voices rattle with words,
That take but an open heart to be heard

Though when you retreat, and stop pounding the walls,
You’ll realise that pain can’t thwart you at all
Don’t let the devil posses, your Oft-punished soul
When death collides; resist, repel, and keep it whole
