We went shopping the other day
After mom had seen the news
In the window on display
Was the coolest pair of shoes

They were red, white, and blue
With a check mark on the side
Mom says, 'those shoes are made for you
So why don't we go inside

I sat down on this tiny chair
It seemed like a long long time
But when he brought them I stared and stared
Can they really truly be mine?

And look, they are a perfect fit
These shoes were made for you
With these shoes i'll never sit
Mom you should have a pair too
