I was kind of afraid today
Of riding on the school bus
A first grader turned to say
Don't worry just stick with us

We rode this same bus last year
The driver is really kind
He also lives not far from here
He is a friend of mine

He's never had an accident
And never drives too fast
I learned this from the time I spent
In kindergarten class

In kindergarten you can bet
We learn our A B Cs
Also things we should'nt forget
Like saying thank you and please

Our teacher's name is Mrs. Betty
She teaches us our lessons
I must be still and always ready
Cause class is now in session
