Mind games I do not play

Either its this or that way

Yes means yes and no means no

Take it or leave it

You can go.

I stand for a friend who is mine

Whatever the the day

Whatever the time

Whatever distance there is between

Whether its rain or shine

I care for a friend right deep down

Spend money and efforts without a frown

Go all the way try to lessen her pain

And relax to watch her smile again

Honesty reflects in my voice and eyes

They shower the truth all the while

A look a gesture assures care

The journey lightened when support is there

Once times were cruel

And shattered my world

But Ive overcome the dark and come forth

Strength is now by my side

All troubles have stepped aside

It brings me contentment to be of help

And feel hugged by God

May his blessings be with me and

The people all around.

I borrow from Tagore to appreciate this beautiful piece of poetry, Here, 'words come out from the depth of Truth.' Here, 'tireless striving stretches its arm towards perfection.' CP
