Conjurers Poem by Alicia Patti

Conjurers

Rating: 5.0

Conjurers like us
have no need
of disappearing acts
or card tricks
that stun the gullible.

Our illusions are ghostly images
wisps of ink
floating across the page

spelled by
a magician
waving a magic wand.

Alicia, wonderful imagery here. I guess we are all conjurers in whatever we write to evoke images to the reader. Great poem. Thanks for sharing it. David
