Deja Vu Poem by Alicia Patti

Deja Vu

Rating: 5.0

a chance sighting
eucalyptus trees
up a slight incline
a moment’s gasp
of recognition
not close enough
for the piercing smell
nostalgia brings

when an owl hooted

I could not help
remembering

Alicia, never mind the why, just enjoy the fact that you wrote a delightful little poem and others enjoy it as well. That is all that counts. Thanks for sharing it David.
