Confusion Poem by Emilee

Confusion

I can’t be infatuated with a piece of my imagination.
Are you sincere? Or are you lying to me?
These are the things that are unknown.
I wonder: Do you really care?
The things that come out of your mouth,
Are they legit? Or are they just shards of what your soul
Says to say? I’m hoping this isn’t it.

Am I too consumed with unrealistic thoughts?
My mind is just a dark space of confusion.
I can’t help myself and what I have of you isn’t enough.
Shred my mind why don’t you?
You’re lethal. You’re unhealthy.
I would stop; dropp you fast
But I’m addicted. I can’t.

And I don’t think I want to.
