Conflict Poem by Christine Joy Desquitado

Conflict

Rating: 5.0

I'm just a kid
I don't know what they are doing
What I did is hid
I'm afraid and crying

I need to be strong
That's what i know
I need to keep holding on
For me to be grow

I'ts been a week after I cry
Here it comes again
But I look up to see the birds fly
Suddenly they start it again

I saw a distorted face of her
That makes a shock face of him
Every words they said
Keeps running on my head

I'm just a kid
Now I know what they said
It's all about their conflict...

An insightful depiction of deplorable childhood experience of ugly domestic battles, well articulated and elegantly penned in beautiful rhyme scheme with conviction. Thanks for sharing Joy. Please read my poem POETIC MASTERPIECE.
