Conch Poem by Ima Ryma

Conch

Lord Krishna blew the conch to start
The battle against evil hate,
To rally body, soul and heart
For faith over a fearful fate.
Battle continues on and on
For humankind to rise above
Old darkness into a new dawn,
When all of life will live with love.
Oft times the battle does seem lost
When evil hate does win the day.
But ever the faithful have crossed
Through the dark time to seek love's way.

Lord Krishna holds the conch to send
Sign should the battle ever end.
