A True Fact Story Poem

you are an annular hurricane,
like a donut
too insane

at the moment the wildest on the Atlantic ocean?

on a rant to Kentucky
you killed thousands
many died this time
no time to be rescued

why are you so violent?

confronted with the satellite photos

you're so easy to spot, with that dangerous big eye
such instant attacks

yesterday you had a diameter
of almost 80 kilometers!
So abnormally huge!

Surrounding your abnormal big eye
is a remarkably circular convective cloud band
at hand

Larry, you are an exceptional hurricane
you are insatiable! Too insane!

The band of clouds directly adjacent to your eye
is called the eyewall. Let's say The Dangerous Eye!

These are heavy and highly developed thunderstorms.
You see, thunderstorms, so many wildest storms altogether!
You went to Kentucky with those hundreds together!
Shame on you, Larry!
You are a coward, you only dare with so many others!

In strong 'normal' hurricanes, under ideal conditions,
this ring of thunderstorms is replaced
by a new ring of thunderstorms
that comes further from your eye.

This thunder ring moves inwards
and swallows the inner ring of thunder,
as it were. The eyewall is then replaced.

Rare in the Atlantic Ocean,
the prognosis for Larry.
A severe hurricane for days,
at least category 3

There are hardly any ring-shaped hurricanes
over the Atlantic Ocean.
Only 1 percent of the hurricanes
that occur here are ring-shaped.

An annular hurricane can maintain its intensity for longer
and is often more steadfast because
it is stronger and more resistant to outside influences.

The forecast for an annular hurricane
is much more difficult to make
because it is very difficult to estimate
how long the hurricane will hold its peak

Larry creates high waves
Although Larry is far from the mainland,
his influence is certainly felt.

Very high waves are currently expected
on the coast of the Antilles, Bermuda, and the Bahamas,
which can cause dangerous currents and conditions.

Kentucky governor says death toll count remains
at 74 as search efforts continue

Kentucky governor, 'If there's good news,
it's that our death count has not gone up since yesterday
and that is good news.'
I am still very very sad to hear what the governor says
to the Press, only 74? But there are people still dying!

Violent Huricane comes and gores away but stability of hope remains to survive. Peaceful mood of life sustains stronger then after and here after the hurricane Thank you very much for penning and sharing an amazing poem and full stars glitter in greater joy..
