I wish to be with you
As you surge through towards your goal
Pining for your success
But hoping you will take me with you.

Waiting to know my worth in your life
As these little things keep me going
Even though I often tread
Without knowing the purpose of the feeling

This feeling walks into my mind
Every time I spend my thoughts thinking about you
These thoughts often seem
Like an inexpensive way of conveying a smile on my face.

This prodigious feeling that you bring into me
I savor every ounce of joy it fetches
But your distance from me
Sometimes leads me to a dark room of solitude
That you’re never failing love lightens up.

Waiting to feel your love for me
As close as I can feel you breathe,
Your comforting arms around me,
And you’re caressing words echoing in my ears.
