Company Of Liars Poem by Randy McClave

Company Of Liars

I want no more liars in my life
I have had enough with girlfriends and a wife,
Please no more lying or deceit
Unto my soul and intelligence do not cheat.
I can't stand or tolerate this strife.

I do not want to be in the company of liars
Where slander and fiction is their true desires,
Where they constantly tell their falsehood
Everyone is bad, where they say they are the good.
They all will stoke hell's fires.

I will not trust the words of a deceiver
They will never corrupt me to be a believer,
I will not follow or trust that type of person
My life, or that of others I will not ever worsen.
To its sin of which I will not ever be a receiver.

I do not want to hear one more lie
I would rather instead hear the liar say goodbye,
So, sick and tired I am of all this backbiting
Which causes cursing, mistrust and fighting.
My same question and response is, "Why".

Please with a Bible tell me no more of your fiction
Then please with a false tear do not cry of your infliction,
Do not seek pity or help because of your lies
The Bible will tell you that's not healthy or wise.
Falsehoods will always judge your conviction.
