I want an educated person to help me pen something
I want to reach some people through my letter
I wish I was educated
But you write to tell my uncle
That I've not disappointed him as he always says
I will marry; and named my first born after him
Tell granny
That I have not shunned home as she thinks
Just that some business has kept me busy somewhere
Write to my aunt in America
Tell her I appreciate whatever she does for me
But I need some cash to settle some business scores
Tell my fiancée
That I have not forfeited the bond I made to marry her
And that sooner she will be a bride
Tell my sisters
That I have lived my entire life living for them
Whether they appreciated, or not; I got to move on
Write to my good friends
That I appreciate their friendship
Especially being there for me even when I don't call them
Write to students
That I still love them
And I am ready to give my best
Then, write to my landlady
That I don't so like those things she does when I get visitors
She knows, you just write
Tell my boss
That ‘She' should be reasonable sometimes
And stop the bossy, know-it-all, crude management tactics
Then write to the government
Ask him why the state is not functioning well
And tell him is not all that rosy down here
Write to the state politicians
Ask them if they really came to serve as they say
Or they came to siphon; as we hear and sometimes witness
Write to tell the ‘Men of God'
That they are looting the church
And using God's name in vain
