Come On Up Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Come On Up

Come on up

A chef is the person
-who knows the people's wants and plays
-with taking or making recipe
-following:
-the portions, chopping, mix,
-elevating cooking
-with good taste, long lasting
-in the mouth and tummy.

The same is life; daily,
-hi, hello, greetings
-to anger and shouting.

Similar are the life's
-face, corners, ups and down
-include words and talks.

I follow ‘Door to Door'
-ring the bell,
-knock the wood
-or glass, or metal
-and even use the buzz.

Study the replies…

Some are rich and see me
-on their own screens.
-Some rush and open door
- (ready and prepared.)
-Some ask me for seconds,
-which can turn to minutes!
-Some come and open it
-in home-wear, not caring!
-Some of them are almost
-in bed-wear, after tub
-exposing everything
- (clumsy if hiding!)

All are fun, but best is:
- "Come on up, "
- (It's lovely and pure English.)
