Come Child Come Poem by Paul Elenora

Come Child Come

You are beautiful beyond imagination
You were created higher above all creations
They marvel at your natural beauty
It supersedes their understanding
- - -
dead to sin yet you live in it
You have called black white
Death! Has become life
Mindless, deceived, lying
Generation!
I gave you life but you traded it for
Damnation!
- -
I am the light, truth and way
Come unto me ye weary and lost
Find rest immeasurable
Experience Peace indescribable
My life I've given for your sake
In return I plead ye come to eternal rest
- - -
Set your MINDS on things ABOVE
Where with lies the hope of your calling
A rest wholly assured
EVERYTHING(on earth) passes away
Riches, fame, lust, death, sin, fleshly pleasures
But this things I tell you
Surely will remain forever
