Come As You Are Poem by Susan Lacovara

Come As You Are

Rating: 4.8

Come as you are
For we've come this far
To be lessened
From the lessons we've learned

Come sit by me
In a breeze by the sea
Though it's hot
There's no risk getting burned

Come play along
To the lines of a song
I long hummed out of tune
No duet

Come touch this heart
What begins as a start
Do come as you are
No regret

A well versed invitation -I love it so much- It is like a cool breeze when we are burned in sunlight
