Come Away With Me Poem by Susan Lacovara

Come Away With Me

Rating: 5.0

Leave the taunting chill behind
And collapse into a private corner
I'll draw circles in your palm
And trace your lips with laughter
We'll shut the blinds
And be blindfolded to what keeps us apart
If only for a stolen moment
You'll have my all and everything
Come away with me

There are a number of certain poems of yours that I read over and over again... just to enjoy the feeling they provide... very much like a candel lit dinner... warm, enviting and very comfortable... this is one of them... :)

Stolen moments indeed. I'm an old romantic, (with the emphasis on the old) I can see I'll have to watch this sort of siren song.

simply captivating... creates the sensation of having totally relinquished one's inhibitions to the fantasy of a lovely desire... as in a dream... shhhhh... don't wake me just yet.
