Colour Of Spring Poem by Ruma Chaudhuri

Colour Of Spring

Rating: 5.0

I walked miles after miles

Until the dawn began

I walked for the sunshine

I walked for the sun.

I heard the sound of the rain

Cuckoo's melodious song

All were echoed in my mind

And lingered for long.

I saw the sun on the brook

When it was sparkling

The flowers danced in the air

And spread the colours of spring.

It's a wonderful poem with good rhyme and rhythm. You have drawn a beautiful portrait with words. I've rated it 10/10. Your new pic is very nice! Best wishes...

When I was a child I used to copy the vice of a cuckoo and enjoyed the quick responses. This beautiful poem has reminded me of my childhood.
