Cold Love Poem by ghaleb hamade

Cold Love

Rating: 5.0

Do you remember?
Christmas snow in December
Rudolph the red nose reindeer
Life in peace with no fear
Every day after the sun set
Nights are cold dark and wet
My own sun for me shines again
Oh so pretty drove me insane
Life’s coldest days you filled with heat
How can I describe something so sweet?
Angels white face devils red lips
Cascading black hair kissing your hips
Eyes black pearls from fairy tales
Voice you stole from singing nightingales
A fancy dream when you sip your wine
Cheeks like rubies in a crown they shine
Everything about you was so warm
But your heart colder than December storm
Tried to warm it I was more than nice
I failed fell in love paid the price
Now I swear on fading love on melting ice
Never to do the same mistake twice
