Coffin chaser
I once knew a woman called ina
hearse detective or coffin chaser defined her
she'd greet the deceased
pretend to the niece
St Peter had spoken to her only last week
He said, there's a place for the old man to go
enjoy a few things, from a long time ago
rest down his wee head
forget all his worries
sure if it wasn't for ina
He'd be buried in Surrey.
Surrey is a bad place? though i don't feel this meets the 'requirements' of a limerick, it does have something to say, which i don't have any more of at this time! hee-hee. bri :)
Never been to Surrey it just seemed to rhyme at the time ha ha. As you can see havent a clue what limerick is...Thanks Bri.

If you want to learn Limericks, Wes Vogler's your man. Read some of his Oogie series. Brilliant cartoons thrown in with every one. Personally I call most of my poems Alexandrines because it's near the top of the list and I'm too lazy to go further down! Think your other Coffin chaser is better, if you don't mind me saying so. still funny though. Tom
