Clocks Poem by Arvie Calimlim

Clocks

Do you think clocks are great?
They always keep us in time
They tell us when to eat
When to study and when to sleep

Clocks could tell us we’re late
They tell us the time we have
But I wonder if clocks
Could tell us when to love

Could it tell us when to care?
Or when to be sad and cry?
Could it tell us when to be happy?
Could it tell us when to die?

Clocks only tell you numbers
They don’t tell you what to do
It could tell you what you could do
But the choice still lies in you
