Clock Poem by Kennedy Huston

Clock

Does a clock ever want to stop ticking
does it get tired doing the same thing every day
over and over
repeating a pattern that never stops
does It get tired going over the same numbers
in circles
while nothing changes
dings at 12: 00 because that's what a clock does
ticking, ticking, ticking
like a person
who wants to stop living.
