Circle Of Life Poem by Poet Dreamer

Circle Of Life

Rating: 4.5

From the circle of life we come
The circle of life is one
Without is within within is without
Innumerable forms from the sacred spout
Timeless being forever present
Infinite dance of iridescence
One is all the eternal now
Unfathomed wisdom before you I bow
From the circle of life we come
The circle of life is one

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Native American cultures living so close to earth had a very deep wisdom of the subtleties of our interconnectedness with all things. They are well aware of the dependence of all created life upon another, which ultimately is sustained by the original source, the Great Mystery, or Great Spirit. The image is of what the Natives call a Sacred Hoop. It symbolizes meanings existing on several different levels, such as: directions of the earth, earth, wind, fire, air, connection between the physical and the spiritual, and the oneness of all that is.

Great poem. I have one with the same title, but it's just a simple haiku.
