Christmas Hope Poem by Colleen Courtney

Christmas Hope

Rating: 5.0

It's Christmas time
The hand bells ring
My life's quite full
Of such wondrous things

Good health have I
My glad heart doth sing
Of the cheerful times
My loving family brings

Yuletide carols play softly
Candles in windows aglow
As the kids wait for Santa
And gaze out at the snow

With my whole world
Filled with blessings
I look upwards and see
The shiny, gliitering star
Upon the top of the tree

It reminds me again
Of what Christmas truly means
It's the sign to bring great hope
For all of Gods blessed beings.

Not my cup o tea (I only drink coffee) , well structured, written, and maintained. But, I can't relate to it, that's probably my bias. Other than my opinion of the subject, it's flawless.

a nice way to remember/think of christmas. of course i usually think more of stuff-stuffed stockings (hung by the chimney with care) , tinsel on the tree with colored lights, and brightly-colored frosting to gnaw off of cutout cookies before munching on the crisp treats. yummy! :) bri thanks for sharing the experience(s) and the rhyming.

Christmas in my house is people making fun of one another, mother panicking, sister complaining, father nagging, and me trying to stay out of everyone hair, but its also filled with laughter and joy that we can be their, it may not be Christmas but its spirit remains when I read this and it comes alive, now if only we can get snow in June!

God has bestowed upon us many things for happiness, but we look at the pains. We should thank God for his kindness. Christmas is also a day to collect the jewels of happiness, to love and be loved and to pay thanks to kind Almighty creator.
