Christmas Eve Poem by shirley hedrick

Christmas Eve

Our stockings are hung, We put up the tree
we hung blinking light on it so santa can see
Were all snuggled up.you and me watching t.v.
The kids are excited cause it Christmas Eve.
There tucked in their beds fast asleep
waiting for santa where could he be.
Be thankful for the gifts you get
For Santa may not have them on his list.
We hear the laughter and see the joy
as they play with their new toys.
Look under the tree.there's two
more presents, One for you and one for me.
Ho, Ho, Ho, Merry Christmas to all.
And to all a good night.
