Christmas Poem by verna ralph

Christmas

Rating: 5.0

Christmas is a feeling
A feeling that is hard to explain
It, s in the air
Its everywhere
A feeling of happiness, joy and sadness
Memories of past love ones that are not here

The malls are filled with people
Busy shoppers scurrying around
Looking for special gifts for their friends and family
Children sitting on Santas knee
Whispering wishes in Santas ear
Telling him if they were good or bad this year

The snow is softly falling
Christmas carolers are out about
Singing xmas songs for you and me
Collecting money for the poor
To give them a little more

The christmas tree is all lit up
glitterhering gifts peeking out
Pretty bows for all to see
wrap with tender loving care
For the ones that we hold dear

A time for miricles and dreams
God sent down a special gift
From the heavens above
Jesus the christ child
To be born on christmas Day

'In every Christmas card I write...'. You've written a fine card, dear Verna, and I want to answer you as well as people who can have your thought. Merry Christmas.
