Not long ago, he found his love,
I kicked my heels; he'll tell by now;
Days turned darker, clouds all grey,
Monsoons cried, so did I, he just got away.
Harsh bullet of words shot at me, bundle of volumes sleeping,
The rest never saw the ' me', the grieved heart pleaded to flee,
Yet I shuddered, sobbed and warred unbending,
A sibling, just in his memory,
Then a new dawn, 'he' came by,
A soul, a friend, he's mine! ! It just seemed fine,
One day discerning, I awfully frown,
That the stars not shown,
Do not forget to shine, he too is mine!
'Beloved! ! It's vain, let me explain!
That forest fruit you admire; will lead you on fire'.
'But I'm droughted and thirsty,
I will tell you why'.
'The sail is delightful, my dear!
Coz my ocean's vast and forever,
I utter always good to you,
You choose among the two'! ! ! !
Lovely piece of poetry, well articulated and nicely penned. Thanks for sharing.
