Children's Poems By John W Mcewers: Demons Of Nashville

Little Tommy Trotter took a trip with all his family
to the big ole' Country Music Hall of Fame.
Tommy wanted Disney and his sister Tabby favored Sea World
but their daddy loved his country music so.

They got to the big city in a Camry looking pretty
with a new shine and rinse and wax like Mommy wanted.
Daddy's eyes they started shifting to the boots that were a walking
on the hot ole' sidewalks toward the hall of fame.

Tommy's mommy slapped his daddy and the two started a scene.

Tommy wondered why these Nashville ladies wore such short shorts
and his daddy must've wondered that same thing too.
