Chasing The Sun Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Chasing The Sun

Chasing the sun

The devil lovely sun, fully round with clouds
Amuses, uses me to abuse reddish dusk.

Follows not standard, constantly changes shape, colours, size,
Sometimes full and golden, times is half, circle’s piece, or halo.

Sacred girl’s pilgrimage, with fetish, holds cloth of Ganga, to dip in
I am caught behind wheel, westward is dangerous, driving.

Eyes forward, cautiously look left and right, watch, busy
Vehicles to my sides, add, decrease their speeds, velocity.

I search for camera, must record this devil’s hide and seek.
