Changing adresses I Poem by Sepp Mall

Changing adresses I

Spring, time and time again
a green
thrusting up towards the light
and caressing couples under the trees

Don't ask me / what
will last: changing
adresses / fading images
sometimes a smell
that settles amidst re-
collections
: of moldy stair-
ways / small rooms
where you turn around
and say: here we stay
