Chances Poem by Louise JeanMarie

Chances

Rating: 4.0

Taking chances is a new concept to me
Always cautious never free
Should I, would I, could I
till the moment passes by never to be re-opened
Looked in the mirror disappointed at who I saw

Took the breath needed
open eyes, open hands
Stop living a lie
take it
own it
embrace it
Remove the camouflage

Taking chances was a new concept to me
Now I am open, now I am free...
