Caught Poem by Sara Neame

Caught

Caught

I’ve been caught by a fisherman,
Really truly hooked
He threw me the bait and I took it
I never even looked.

His voice was so exciting,
His words I can’t forget
I fell hook line and sinker
For this man I’d never met.

Now that we’ve met just once,
He thrilled me through and through,
His jokes, his laugh and teasing
And his kisses too.

He calls me ‘my love’,
It sounds so right
I would love to be his
Each day and night.

With him as my man
I would never be stranded
Please just let me be
The best fish ever landed!
