Catastrophe Poem by Tayyab Ijaz

Catastrophe

It started when I saw her
The very first kiss brought beauty to our life
Weird and weighty life became lullaby
Caresses, cuddles, hugs, fondling……….
The violets, lilies and roses,
Rivers, mountains and skies,
Stars, moon, lovely clouds,
The beauty, the love in the eyes, all feasts
All reliving, all comforting, all soothing,
All delight, all elation, all glee,
Mirth to each other.
Joy, happiness,
And purification of heart and soul.
The source of eternal joy.
Is this the essence of life?
This is all man is hankering for?
But why suddenly love becomes illusion?
All heaven suddenly turns to hell....
All destroyed, all lost.....
