Careful Approach
My guard has been restored
invisible shield set in place
For hearts sake:
it will not be thrown to the wind
Caught up in the jaws of a storm
tossed around sand on the beach
swept out to sea with the tide
IT HAS BEEN SAID:
a twice broken heart will never mend
I approach the future with soft steps.
We can all be guilty of letting our guard down too soon, a great poem.
I appreciate the hope in this poem; the caution is intelligent; the words are powerful.
Oh! Lord your ways are different Your mercy keeps us different Let all broken hearts mend With your invisible touch.
Let the soft steps be firm. Beautiful poem. Thank you.
