Care Poem by Norchel Tingson

Care is a word beyond limits.
Someone yearns for care.
She toils for it.
However, the world just doesn't want to understand her.
She doesn't even understand why she writes this
Although she knows that the world won't care for her-
That the people she loves won't appreciate-
That the public won't notice her smile within her-
Or maybe tears.
She reaches the depth of the careless sea,
Only to seek the word she once felt.
She sees everybody as her friends.
Yet, they recognize her not.
She tries hard to be happy
But it seems that the more she tries the harder for the people to acknowledge her.
If only you could see the pain inside her,
If only you could feel the breaking pieces of her heart,
If only you could sense the burden,
You would probably be in nowhere.
She’s strong and yet she’s easily hurt.
She’s enjoyable and yet she’s enjoying the boredom within.
She’s laughing and yet she’s endlessly crying.
Care is a word way beyond her limits.
