Canoodling In 'C' Poem by Irene C S ClarkHogg

Canoodling In 'C'

Rating: 4.8

Colin Curry came acourting
Comely Countess Caroline
Craving cuddles, cool caresses
Choosing creepers,
Colin climbs.

'Come on ' chortled cheerful cherubs
Carved clasping crumpled crimson curtains
Colin clutched cold crumbling casements
Confidently; conquest certain.

Canny Colin, champion climber
' cross cruel corners courageously clambers
' Come cute courtesan ' called the crafty consort
Crossing Caroline's chilly chambers.

Choosing a cocooning, cushioned couch,
Cuddling Caroline, Colin creeps
Carefully clasping copper curls
Caressing cherry coloured cheeks.

A cad caught carousing; chasing Colin,
Count Carl, cuckolded, clutched a chopper.
Chastising clashes, cursing crudely,
Called 'Corporal Cooper ' the castle copper.

Cold cuffs, custody, a confining cell
Crass canoodling classed a crime
Cheeky Colin, called craven criminal,
A convent claims Countess Caroline.

A succint lesson in phonics if I ever saw one! Did you see 'C's all night after writing this? :) Peace, Aisha

I like this one. I too have been smitten with the alphabet. Read my 'Alphabet Names' and I have several Scribble poems.

Congratulations on the length. You possess persistence as your workmate. I like the ending this is a real tongue-twister.

You are rather deft with your moves here.......perhaps poor daft Colin Curry might have benefited through prior consultation! Well done.
