Can the Beauty of the world outside
Overcome the Darkness of the world within?
Can the Light of this world,
Mean more than the shaky inner pain
of a person old and lost?
I don't know
I look
I write
I try again
To lift the sad weight of this world inside
And feel
The freedom of the life and the light
Without and within.
