Can Of Worms Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Can Of Worms

Can of worms

Having been to schools
-fell in love with those who
-taught me the bad and good.

Better than good schools
-were those that in Russian
-is "тюрьма."

They carry many names
-Qasr, Evin, Abu Ghraib
-to Alcatraz, and Folsom.

All of them have had guests
-criminals, confused, innocents;
- (many died, slandered.)

I have seen some of them
- (went with guards, visited)
-and in some, lived as guest…

Burglars, murderers were teachers,
-there I met victims of injustice.

Too many were lessons!
-Have written in thousands
-many are examples, on pages!

My notebooks are in shelves!
-Some of them are noted
-on the napkin boxes!
-Many were shredded!

I witnessed the walk of
-two expert professionals
-using jail as school
-to train young loyal,
- (possibly have noted.)

Walked with them for a while
-when talked of God, Mankind:
- "We are his ‘Can of Worms! '"
