But I Laugh And Laugh Poem by Shalom Freedman

But I Laugh And Laugh

I LAUGH AT MYSELF

I laugh at myself
I laugh with myself
I laugh to myself
And I am happier
I am distracted
I am alive
I know I am fooling myself
I know it is only a game
But I laugh and laugh
And feel more alive
And continue walking to Shul
In the morning.
