The crystalline peace
speechlessly settling
on soft padded feet -

The bliss of solitude
of a caressing breeze-

The soulful songs of hiding birds
enhancing the magic
of the melting dusk-

The distant call of a devotional bell
lifting the soul
to the feet of god-

All that I deeply inhale
under the grand canopy of heaven
at this precise moment-

Would I experience
in same solemn glory
with the same intensity
and absolute divinity
after years roll by
in dusts of forgetfulness?

Alas!
Reckless has been my journey so far-
missed all majestic morns;
lost every evening show;
deaf to all winged songs;
thick to the kisses of loving winds-

Lo..given my all
to the sweat of wealth
and bites of worry;

O lord take my wealth
but bless me peace!
