Your broken love is tearing you apart
He made you fall for him
Then damaged your heart
Now your whole world has turned dark
How do you get back to the start?

All those other boys just can’t compete
With the way life was with him
Because he made you feel complete
And you try so hard to move on and let go
But loving him is all that you know

I know that you can’t stop thinking about the way things were
Before everything just became a blur
He was the person you could always turn to
You thought he meant forever when he said “I love you”

You haven’t had the best of luck in life
But I believe that everything will turn out alright
There will come a time, my dear
When there will be no tears
And love shall not damage your heart
But conquer your fears
